A COFFEE morning at Okehampton Church Hall on March 10 raised £430 for the cancer support charity FORCE. FORCE is based in the grounds of the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, and offers a relaxed environment where patients and their carers and families can seek information, support and counselling, as well as receiving free complimentary therapies. It works closely with Macmillan, Marie Curie and Hospiscare, but receives no funding from the NHS. The organisers of the coffee morning expressed thanks to everybody who supported it.
