THE next stage of the re-organising of Callington Town Football Club starts on Sunday with the annual meeting of the club at Callington Cricket Club at 7pm.

Players will have the chance to vote on the restructuring proposals, then vote for the all important committees. Club secretary Phil Brown is urging as many players to attend as possible: 'This is one of the most important meetings in recent years and it is important that those people who will be affected by any decisions, the players, attend to make their decision.'

Training for the new season will be each Tuesday and Thursday starting on Tuesday July 6 at 7pm at the ground. Any players who would like to join the club are invited to attend these sessions.

Meanwhile the club are preparing their case for re-election to the Carlsberg South Western League at its meeting in June.

Chairman Andrew Long and secretary Phil Brown will attend and will hope to convince the other members of the need to keep Callington in the top Cornish league.
