THE Tavistock Tennis Club completed a full programme of matches in the last league where for the second time this year there were some wide margins in results both for and against.
In the first round of the Plymouth Knock Cup, in a local Derby, the club beat old rivals Yelverton in a close match with a high standard of play.

In the first round of the Plymouth Knockout Cup (Seniors Mixed Doubles) the Club won 5-3 away against Yelverton so going through to the semi-final. With this competition each team has four pairs and matches are divided with pairs 1 and 2 playing each other and pairs 3 and 4 the same giving 8 matches in total, each match best of 3 sets.

l Club junior Rhys Dunford, age 9 yrs, in the 3rd stage of the preliminary Round Robin matches of the Devon Robinson Challenge at Barnstaple, played three matches in one day with results: 1-6, 4-6, 6-4, the 2nd one being much closer than the score depicts.
