AN OLD American-style harmonium organ which has stood in All Saints Church, Monkokehampton, for around 80 years, is to be sold. The church is selling the vintage Mason and Hamlin organ which has stood in the churchroom since the 1920s. Churchwarden William Pearce said the organ was currently only used on rare occasions, but was still very playable. It needs little or no tuning nor electricity, only pedal power. Mr Pearce said: ?It was given in memory of a parishioner and has remained there for several years. It was in regular use until about ten years ago.? The church is appealing for any musical collectors who might be interested in owning the instrument.
