AN APPLICATION to convert Metherell Baptist Church into a residential dwelling has been supported by Calstock Parish Council.

Councillors said it would be good to bring the building back into use but they would like to see features adequately preserved like the war memorial and the baptism area in the floor of the building.

Davenham Trust Ltd has made the application for conversion.
