WHIDDON Down Village Hall will host a Christmas market following the success of the first two village markets at the hall.

From 7pm to 9pm on Friday December 9 shoppers can buy home made cakes, pies, jewellery, cards and much more.

Refreshments, including mince pies, mulled wine and vegetable soup will also be available.

The market is being organised to raise funds for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust and the Eve Appeal Gynaecological Cancer Research Fund.
