CHAGFORD will be full of festive fun and Christmas cheer on Tuesday, December 10 for a late night shopping event.

The town will be a riot of colour with lights and over 50 decorated Christmas trees on all of the shops. There will be entertainment in the streets from 6pm, which will appeal to all age groups and shoppers.

The event take place each year, with shops providing lots of unique Christmas present ideas for shoppers. From specialist food shops to unique department stores, every taste should be catered for. Each shopper receives a free ticket at the event which enters them into a prize draw for a cash prize.

Visitors from further afield can benefit from extra car parking for the evening at the primary school grounds.

Father Christmas will take some time out from his busy schedule to greet children, while drummers and the Mosock Bulgarian Choir will fill the streets with music.

Hungry shoppers can find their appetites sated by butcher Andy Martin, who will once again be cooking his infamous hog roast.

The Jubilee Hall will be getting in on the action, as it hosts a Christmas Market from 5pm to 8pm.

By 8.30pm, worn out shoppers can retire for refreshment to the Globe Inn, Ring of Bells or the Three Crowns, who will offer a warm welcome to any visitors.
