MORE than 30 dogs were micro-chipped for free at a recent event in Callington.

Cornwall Council's welfare and enforcement team undertook an afternoon of micro-chipping in the Saltash Road car park last month, where 32 dogs were chipped.

The chips were supplied by the Dogs Trust and the team was able to implant the chip for anyone that wanted to have their dog done.

Any owner who would like their dog chipped can contact the team on 0300 1234212 where a message will be passed to your local dog warden who will contact you to make arrangements.
