PUPILS from class 4 at St Andrew?s Primary School in Buckland Monachorum enjoyed a day out recently, when they visited the new Children?s Trail at The Garden House. The trail takes in the whole garden, encouraging youngsters to find out about the history of The Garden House, its architecture and wildlife, as well as its plants. After completing the trail, and enjoying a well-earned picnic, the children produced some stunning drawings of the things they had seen during their visit. The day, including the walk to and from The Garden House through meadows and alongside a stream, linked with the children?s current school work on wildlife habitats and the environment.
