LEADING cheese manufacturer Glanbia Foods UK is once again celebrating after its North Tawton operation recently scooped more prizes.
The award-winning Taw Valley Creamery blew away the opposition in both the Royal Welsh Show and the prestigious Nantwich Cheese Show.
The cheesemaker secured the title of supreme champion for its Red Leicester and took home a host of other awards at the Nantwich show.
In the Royal Welsh Show there was further glory for the firm?s Red Leicester as well as first prize in the specialist cheese category for its cheddar brand Mature Churnton.
Bruce Macdonald, cheese grading manager of Glanbia, said: ?This has been a fantastic year for Glanbia so far and we are delighted that our UK creameries have been recognised for their hard work and dedication to producing superior flavours and recipes.?
The Taw Valley creamery is one of four Glanbia facilities in England and Scotland.
The factory?s latest string of awards follows their recent success in the Great Yorkshire Show and the Highland Show.
