CHARITY lunches are back at award winning West Devon hotel The Horn of Plenty, with a new challenge for the New Year!

The Horn of Plenty has long had a reputation for supporting good causes through its charity lunches.

Owner Julie Leivers said: 'Last year, we raised almost £9,000 for good causes, thanks to the generosity of our wonderful guests.

'We're raising the stakes this year, with a challenge to reach £10,000 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support at Derriford Hospital.'

Sian Harris, Macmillan Fundraising Manager for Plymouth, N Devon and Tamar Valley said:   'With over 10,000 people being diagnosed with cancer every year in Devon and Cornwall, we rely on support from the local community to fund our vital services.

'Support from The Horn of Plenty's guests is fantastic, and will really make a difference to local people affected by cancer.'

Charity lunches will run from Monday, January 9 until Friday, March 9, every day except Sundays.

Lunches are priced at just £15 for 2 courses, or £19 for 3 courses.
