FARM Stay UK held its Devon and Cornwall conference at a blustery Roadford Lake last week. The organisation held a very successful raffle at its annual dinner and raised £1,228.00 for charity. The charities chosen to benefit were Farms for City Children from Okehampton and the Children's Hospice South West based near Barnstaple. Farm Stay UK's Director, Barbara Sleep from Trevadlock, said she was delighted to present Tracy Izod of Farms For City Children with a cheque for £614.00 on behalf of Farm Stay members from across the country. Tracy Izod, the charity's fundraiser said: 'I am thrilled Farm Stay UK chose two local charities to support. Although the charities chosen are totally different they are both very worthy causes and we are very grateful to have been nominated.'
