BLACK ties for men and an evening dress for ladies will be the order of the evening at a charity ball in Meldon Village Hall.

The event, on Saturday, December 6, will be raising funds for local Macmillan Nurses.

A similar ball last year raised more than £800 for a breast cancer charity. The dance starts at 8pm and tickets cost £7 per person.
