OKEHAMPTON and District Lions Club recently held a successful handover lunch at the Crossway's Folly Gate.
During the lunch, former Lions president Ian Snell handed over the chain of office to Brian Barkwell.
Brian thanked Ian for a successful year and for all the hard work he had done throughout his term.
The afternoon concluded with a quiz which was won by Alan and Benita King, ably supported by Rob and Sally Saxby.
The team with the lowest score was led by the presidents wife Mary Barkwell who were awarded chocolates.
