JIGGERYPIPERY, one of the best folk-rock bands around, will be performing at The Victory Hall at South Zeal on Saturday, May 17 at 8pm.
With a growing band of followers and five talented and very experienced musicians playing a wide range of instruments, Jiggerypipery are great to dance to or just to sit and listen.
From fiddle to drums and cittern to Scottish bagpipes their performances are full of musical mastery.
Simon Crowe was drummer for ten years with the Boomtown Rats and played at the ?Live Aid? concert at Wembley Arena. Since moving to Devon he played with the excellent Corridor 38 until joining Jiggerypipery where his powerful drumming style underpins the action.
Seventy year old James Robertson on bagpipes has won competitions since childhood and has performed on many feature films, including once alongside the great Muir Matheson.
With Pete Bingham (ex Waulk Elektrik) on bass, Tony Bayliss on cittern, guitar and vocals and Carl Allerfeldt on fiddle, Jiggerypipery have a highly talented line-up.
