TALENTED mums and teachers will be bringing a little glamour to rural West Devon during a charity fashion show next month.
The event, supported by House of Fraser and many of its designer concessions including Ralph Lauren. Phase Eight and Karen Millen, will be held at the Moorland Links Hotel, Yelverton on Friday, November 13, to raise much needed funds for St Andrew's School PTA.
Organiser and PTA member Hoorieh Coish said: 'Last year we raised nearly £1,500 with the fashion show and we would very much like to beat that target this year. Our new head teacher, Sarah Pendle, has kindly volunteered to head the line-up of beautiful and talented mums and teachers who will all be walking down the catwalk.
'House of Fraser has been extremely generous and we have nine of their top designer concessions showcasing their autumn day and evening wear. We will also have many well known cosmetics and fragrance houses participating. The event is being supported by Cutting Company of Yelverton who will kindly give the models a glamorous make-over.'
The evening will also offer a great opportunity for some pre-Christmas shopping. Tickets at £10 each are now on sale from the school (01822 853153), Pebbles of Tavistock and Cutting Company in Yelverton. Tickets includes a glass of Buck's Fizz on arrival.
