HATHERLEIGH History Society has its next meeting in the new year, a talk on renovations at a local National Trust property.

Paula Clarke from Castle Drogo will visit to discuss the proposed restoration work being undertaken at the property by the trust.

At its last meeting of 2011 in November, Dr Janet Few delivered a Through the Keyhole-style take on history with her talk 'Who lived in cottages like these?'

The meeting is on Monday January 9 at 7.30pm in Old Schools. All are welcome. Admission is £2 for non-members.
