THE Ten Tors Concert Orchestra, the South West's professional orchestra has received confirmation of a grant from Devon and West Somerset Key Fund.

The money is specifically for the purchase of computer equipment, a specialist fundraising database, to set up the orchestra's web site and provide arts marketing, fundraising and IT skills training for members of the volunteer steering group.

Karen Ible, Administrator of the Ten Tors Concert Orchestra said:

'We are delighted to receive this grant from the Devon and West Somerset Key Fund. It will assist us in providing effective administrative back up to the Orchestra's year-round programme of events, and use 21st century technology to promote our concerts more widely.'

The web site should be up and running in June. The Orchestra's next concert is on Easter Saturday April 14 at the Ariel Centre, Totnes.
