OKEHAMPTON Carnival committee are still looking for boys and girls to enter their Prince and Princess competition for 2005. This is the last chance for parents to enter royal couples ? who must be between the ages of four and eleven on carnival day ? for the big day. Entries should be handed in to Krafty Cards in Red Lion Yard or JC Books in the Arcade by 12 noon next Thursday (June 30). Please ensure you give names, ages, addresses and contact telephone numbers of all entrants. The committee have a float, which can be used by the prince and princess, and will offer any advice regarding its decoration if required. Parents should also be aware attendance at some of the other local carnivals will be expected. This year?s Okehampton Carnival is on Saturday, October 15.
