CARERS from West Devon who are looking for free financial advice or want to socialise with other carers in the area have been invited to attend the events planned for 'Carers Rights Day'.
South Devon Carers Consortium, a registered charity, has developed and provided a range of services for local carers for more than 13 years. The charity is working with other organisations such as Carers UK to put on these events.
The theme for this year is 'Making the most of your money', and if you attend one of the events you will be entitled to free entry into a draw — prizes include trips to London, the zoo, the theatre, swimming, supermarket vouchers and more.
Carers in the Okehampton area can attend a lunch at the White Hart Hotel, Okehampton, on Friday, December 5.
Carers in the Tavistock area have been invited to go along to the King's Arms Hotel in Kingsbridge on Friday, December 5.
