A voluntary scheme, HOST, introduces adults from all over the world who are studying in the UK, to hospitable British people.
An invitation to spend a weekend or a few days over Christmas, as a welcome guest in a private home, can make a huge difference to a student?s understanding of Britain.
HOST is backed by the British Council and 140 participating academic institutions.
