FIREFIGHTERS were called to a road accident on the A3124 between North Tawton and Whiddon Down near Spreyton on Tuesday. One crew from North Tawton attended the scene just after 7.25am. On arrival firefighters found a car overturned due to icy conditions but no-one was trapped. Firefighters made the vehicle safe and left the incident in the hands of the police and ambulance staff. The county council?s Highways Agency were called to re-grit the road.
