POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an abandoned Red Vauxhall Nova was found on fire on the A386 near Mary Tavy.

Police and firefighters were called to the scene at 3.45am on Sunday, but the G registered vehicle was completely burned out.

It had previously been reported as being stolen from Plymouth and anyone with any information is asked to contact the police on 08452 777444 quoting 284 of 17/10/04.
