WHAT is our nation sliding into for the future?

I have had a very full life of wonder and awe through childhood, service life and adulthood, in play and work both, with its ups and downs but always proud to be British.

What on earth is happening to our country with such issues as: morality, commitment, job security, religion, voting, the Euro, sentiment and finally respect and discipline.

I am personally an optimist but a bit long in the tooth to help our slide of the above issues. Perhaps some of our younger folk can give me some answers?
