A WEST Devon residential home is seeking the help of Times readers as it prepares to celebrate two upcoming events.

Staff at the Red House in Yelverton are trying to make up a diamond jubilee box for residents and are appealing to anyone with any coronation day memorabilia.

Home manager Nikki Challinor said: 'We were wondering if anyone had any memorabilia we could borrow or keep to put in this box.

'It will be used in the build-up to the diamond jubilee day for reminiscence sessions about coronation day itself.'

Staff are also appealing for entertainers, musicians, groups or magicians who would like to help provide entertainment at the Red House's Prom on the Lawn event on Saturday July 21.
