THE Lions Club of Tavistock this week issued an appeal for help in order to enable members to move a 40ft container.

At the moment, items such as their road advertising boards and cardboard litter bins have been stored in a warehouse on the Plymouth Road Industrial Estate.

But due to a change in circumstances, the Lions are having to look for a new home and have been offered the container — provided they can arrange for it to be moved from its present location to its new home, a journey which will take ten minutes at the most.
