ANYONE concerned about speeding through Mary Tavy is being urged to get involved with a community speedwatch scheme.
There is a 30mph speed limit through the village — but the speed limit lights flash constantly, proving that drivers are travelling too fast.
Only three people have come forward so far to help with a suggested community speedwatch scheme, which may not be enough to maintain it. The commitment is for perhaps a couple of hours a month, particularly if there are enough volunteers, who work in teams, not as individuals.
Anyone interested should contact PCSO Dave Chapple on 08452 777444 or 07864 104728, email [email protected]">[email protected]
