TAVISTOCK Area Support Services is in need of the help of local residents. The charity is hosting its annual bonanza in August and is in need of good quality goods to be donated. Anyone who has had a spring clear-out is being asked to donate good quality bric-a-brac to be sold at the charity bonanza. Bryan Podmore, co-ordinator of Friends of TASS, said: 'Any donations of good quality items will go to helping the continual work of TASS in helping local people. 'Donations and sale of goods equates to two thirds of TASS's income and every item donated will help us give hope to others.' The charity bonanza brings local charities together under one roof to raise much needed revenue to help them survive throughout the year. Anyone who would like to donate can take items to the Anchorage Centre, Tavistock, Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm.
