A?SPECIAL letterboxing stamp has been created for the 5th Tavistock Brownies to celebrate the Guiding Centenary.

Brownie leader Tracey Hounsell prepared the special letterboxing stamp and on a fine late summer evening the pack walked to the top of Pew Tor to find a suitable nook or cranny to hide their letterbox.

Tracey said: 'The Brownies were very choosy when finding the right hiding place. They spent ages looking and are so excited that they are challenging everyone to find it.'

The pack will visit their letterbox again shortly to see who has risen to the task. The only clue they are giving away is that it is hidden on a slope – and this photograph, of course! It shows Tracey at the back and assistant leader Lucinda Grice, front, and the girls from the 5th Tavistock Brownies.
