THERE'S only one question on everyone's lips this summer . . . has Okehampton got talent?
This summer will see the launch of Okehampton's Got Talent, a new talent contest to hit the town with a similar format to ITV's hit show Britain's Got Talent.
The King's Arms, on St James Street, Okehampton, will be hosting the competition and are waiting for the town's talent to make themselves known.
The pub is looking for anyone who has a talent, be it singing, juggling, comedy, poetry, playing an instrument or anything else, particularly the unusual.
There will be three heats and the top contestants from each will go through to a grand final. There will be a £50 cash prize for the overall winner, who will be decided by an audience vote. All the events will take place in the garden and hayloft of the King's Arms.
The first heat will be on Sunday, July 27 with a 6.30pm start, the second will be on Thursday, August 7 starting at 7.30pm and the final heat will be on Thursday, August 14, again starting at 7.30pm.
