OKEHAMPTON's highest placed team continue their impressive run, but after a four week lay off their skills were replaced by a stuttering performance.

Okehampton took the lead after ten minutes, when a good run and cross by Jerome Whatley was headed home by James Callaghan.

Heavitree drew level after a fine shot from 25 yards looped over keeper Neal Clift.

Okehampton regained the lead when a ball from Dave Grimes found Jamie Back. He passed to Tony Pickering, who slotted it home.

The second half was minutes old when Adam Mortimer scored after evading three defenders.

Okehampton were pushed back by Heavitree for long periods of the second half, and it came as no surprise when they pulled back a goal.

Nicky Jones and Ian Wilson pushed forward and chances were created, but poor finishes meant the score remained unchanged.
