A PUBLIC exhibition detailing three different options for the £3 million St Mellion bypass will be staged in the village on Monday (February 27.) Cornwall County Council is holding the event from 2pm to 8pm in St Mellion Church Hall during which time the project team will be able to answer any questions. As construction may be several years away, the council has made some cost-saving changes to the design to that it will still be affordable when it does get built. Anyone unable to attend the exhibition can view the current proposals on the website: http://www.cornwall.gov.uk/roadschemes">www.cornwall.gov.uk/roadschemes The consultation period ends on March 17.
