ALL the best of Dartmoor's produce will be on display at Postbridge Village Hall on Sunday (October 20) with the bumper Food Event from Meat Dartmoor.

Meat Dartmoor is a group of independent Dartmoor farmers, established in 2004.

Spokesperson Sue Martin said: 'We all feel it is very important that as farmers we are open and honest in talking to the general public.

'On display at the Food Event which be held in the hall between 10am to 3pm there will be lots of local stalls, with Dartmoor Meat, Honey, cakes, bread, vegetables, jams, pickles, fudge, cheese, apples.

Sue added: 'Following the success of our food event last year we have decided to repeat it again this autumn. There will be no celebratory chefs teaching you how to cook expensive fillet steak or something that will be difficult for you to source; instead the Meat Dartmoor Wives will help you learn how to cook with the cheaper cuts of meat and what to buy. '

It will be family friendly with light refreshments available and free admission.
