BULLOCKS had to be led to safety by Callington fire crew when a fire destroyed a large part of a barn at Stoke Climsland.
The barn was well alight by the time the crew reached the scene at lunchtime on Boxing Day, and the fire had spread to the roof.
One hundred and ten bullocks were released from the barn, and a third of the building was lost.
The cause of the fire was not thought to be suspicious.
