FOLLOWING the picture printed on July 24, I write on behalf of Whitchurch Brownie pack to thank the many people who made our recent flowerbed project at Whitchurch School possible.
We would like to thank the team of Brownies? parents, especially Mr Meekin, a professional landscape gardener, our young leader Kirsty Ingram, headteacher Mrs O?Shea-Warman, and all the other volunteers who gave up their time and energies to shift soil. Not forgetting the 24 Brownies themselves!
Thanks also to Safeway, Long Ash Garden Centre, Endsleigh Gardens, Kaminskies, Rowdens Gardens, The Garden House and Sparlings for their kind donations of materials for the garden and their fantastic support.
Because of the team, community effort we were to turn an unsafe, rough patch of earth and shrubs into a beautiful flowerbed, and are looking forward to phase two ? the patio.
