KELLY College Prep Geocachers have made their first sortie onto Dartmoor in search of Geocache boxes with the help of their new GPS.

The expedition was greatly enjoyed by the pupils — all three sites were found and the searches were made more exciting by encrypted clues as the group neared the geocache.

A spokesman for Kelly Prep said: 'Our new Garmin GPS navigator was purchased by our parents' association.

'The Kelly Prep Parents' Association is a group of our parents,which organises events to raise money for the school.

'We have seen many wonderful events which include the Christmas Fair, May Ball, Bonfire Night, and many other fun filled activities.'
