WEST Devon A stretched their lead at the top of the Tavistock Snooker league with a 5-0 victory over West Devon C. Heathman, Hawke, K Rich and Emptage ratcheted up easy wins for WD A. There was one moment that gave the C team visiting supporters something to shout about though when Dave Elliott hit a superb 24 break, though unfortunately it was still not enough to win the frame over Hawke. The final frame saw Pennington not quite being able to throw over the Hurford as the later made it 5-0 to the A side.

Conservative C continued bad form with a another loss, this time at the hands of visitors Tavy A. Tavy's Hoar romped home allowing Con's C Jago only six points with Stewart backing him up with a win over T Jago. Con C's Hoare gave it a good go but ultimately fell to the power of Woods, while Ryall was made to fight in a less than convincing win over Con C's Claridge to make it four for Tavy. Con C's Bassett saved the blushes for his team with a win over Grylls.

At West Devon B visitors Con B were made to fight every inch of the way. Con B's Andrews put them one up only for John Rich to pull WD level as he eased past Ewings. Back in front went the Con's courtesy of Dolans win over Bath with Roger Rich again pulling his team level with a thumping win over Mark Evans. The final frame decider saw Consevative Lillicrap holding his game together to oust the fast improving Smith to make it 3-2 to Conservative B.
