DRIVERS across Devon are being given the chance to prove once and for all who really are the best drivers – men or women. On Sunday, February 25, Marie Curie Cancer Care is holding the Great Daffodil Appeal Off Road Challenge. Participants will get the chance to take part in a woodland trial, an accuracy test and have a go on a quad bike and mini digger. The course, which is run by Land Rove, gives you the chance to drive blind, go though deep water and test your driving skills to the limit. All this in a range of Land Rovers set up especially to cope with the demands of the course. Participants are asked to raise a minimum of £130 in sponsorship and pay a registration fee of £10 per entrant (non refundable). All entrants must be aged 18 or over and have a full UK driving licence. For more information or to register, please ring Natalie Weaving on 01884 70 35 36.
