THE mobile phone mast in Down Road, Tavistock, has to be taken down (Times, January 8). Saying sorry is not good enough and not acceptable. It was erected by incorrect procedures so take it down and start it again properly just as any resident would have to do if planning procedures were not adhered to.
These masts are very controversial and as yet health risks are still not clear. Even more reason surely to make sure procedures were correct from the start.
Well, I'm sorry planning department but your apology means nothing and is not good enough. Do it properly.
