STAFF at Tavistock's Co-operative store in Brook Street, presented a cheque to a Tavistock transport charity to help fund a new bus.

Michael Endean from the Co-operative Area Committee, with the assistance of Jo Arnold, the Brook Street store manager, presented a cheque for £1,800 to Tavistock Community Transport Association on behalf of the Co-operative Association Community Fund, towards the cost of their new bus, which will cost £92,000.

Receiving the cheque were Douglas Humphrey, chairman, Joanna Humphrey, secretary, and Giles Baibent service manager, together with Norie Philips and Tony Everitt, driver co-ordinators and driver Roy Stenning.
