A TAVISTOCK office of chartered accountants helped to raise thousands of pounds for St Luke's Hospice.
Tavistock's Francis Clark accountants chose St Luke's Hospice as the charity to benefit from its year of fundraising in 2014.
Staff held a book sale, craft and cake sales, a soup kitchen and a Christmas jumper day.
Francis Clark partner Guy Talbot said: 'We have seven offices across the region and each chooses its own charity of the year. For 2014, we opted for St Luke's Hospice because of the wonderful work they do with terminally ill people from Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall.
'They need to raise at least £4-million each year to carry our their vital 24/7 service, which has been bringing comfort and dignity to terminally ill local people and their families for over 30 years.'
Altogether the Francis Clark offices collectively raised £16,000 in 2014, for charities including the Merlin MS Centre (Truro), Woodside Animal Sanctuary (Plymouth), Animals in Distress (Torquay), Devon Air Ambulance Trust (Exeter), Somerset Community Foundation (Taunton) and Lucy's Days Out (Salisbury).
