A BUMPER book sale is expected at the Anchorage Centre this weekend with literally thousands of books on sale. Books ranging from 'airport novels' to detailed reference books will be on sale for as little as 20p. The event is being held in order to raise money for Tavistock Area Support Services (TASS) to help the elderly and the socially isolated from Tavistock and surrounding villages. The tea bar will also be open during the book sale from 9.30am to 12.30pm tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.
