A BANNER advertising a West Devon charity's weekly event has gone missing — and volunteers would like it back.

The banner, which advertises Tavistock Area Support Services (TASS) Tuesday morning Book Sale, has disappeared from its usual position hanging on the railings at Tavistock Bus Station.

The co-ordinator of the TASS book sales Bryan Podmore noticed the banner missing last week, when he went to bring the banner in.

Mr Podmore said: 'I was astonished to find it not there, as it has been there advertising our fundraising book sales over the past few months.

'These book sales raise much needed monies for TASS and without the banner we will struggle to make people aware of this event.'
