DID you hear the tale of the little boy who ran away to sea? Well, Ivybridge author Julian Stockwin didn?t just write the book, he lived it! And Julian will be the guest author as Okehampton Library celebrates World Book Day next month with a lunch and talk about Nelson. Julian has written many exciting naval novels including the gripping Kydd series. He has a commitment to research and draws on his personal naval experience as well. Tickets for the event, which takes place on Wednesday March 2, are available in advance from Okehampton Library price £2.50 to include buffet lunch. There will also be a mega book sale on Thursday, March 3, from 9.30am-1pm, with plenty of different genres to browse and many bargains.
