VISITORS to Lamerton Sports and Community Centre will be able to quickly and easily see what's happening in the community with the installation of a new noticeboard, donated by Lamerton WI to celebrate the diamond jubilee of the Queen in 2012.

Outgoing Lamerton WI president Angela Minshull said the noticeboard would be a useful addition to village life.

'People will easily be able to see what's happening in the village whenever they come past.

'We are delighted to be able to contribute to the village community in this way,' said Mrs Minshull.

Lamerton Sports and Community Centre chairman Alan Reid thanked Lamerton WI for the notice board, which he described as 'a smashing idea and a really generous gift'.
