FIREFIGHTERS from Okehampton and Chagford were called out to put out a settee on fire in the sitting room of a house near Crockernwell on Saturday. One appliance from Okehampton and one from Chagford were called out just before 10pm after a small fire broke out in the ground floor lounge of the house. Four breathing apparatus sets and two hose reel jets were used to extinguish the blaze.
