A SUMMER Supper was recently held at Callington Methodist Church with special guest speaker The Bishop of Truro, the Right Reverend Tim Thornton and a total of £520 was raised for Christian Aid.  

More than 60 people enjoyed a meal and the Bishop spoke of when he was part of the Salisbury Diocese and its link with the Sudan.

He illustrated his talk with a powerpoint presentation.

He visited the Sudan and saw much good work going on there including health care and educational projects.
