PERHAPS? if Cllr Mandy Ewings wishes to start a constructive discussion on the issue of dog fouling in the Meadows (Times, August 2)?then she should initially start by getting the town council staff to empty the dog waste bins.

The photo (right) is of one of the bins. It and others were in this condition for days.

Furthermore, if the council cut the grass more regularly then it would help dog walkers to sort the situation without council involvement.

For reference, we are dog owners and always carry bags.
