OKEHAMPTON fundraisers have donned their fairy wings and picked up their magic wands in aid of vulnerable children.
Okehampton Children's Centre took part in the Barnardo's Big Toddle on Friday, the sponsored walk for under fives. Up to half a million children take part in the toddle across the UK each year. All the money raised is used to fund Barnardo's work with vulnerable under fives in the UK.
This year's theme was fairy tales and nursery rhymes. The centre invited local groups to join in the fun, and youngsters, parents and carers alike toddled around Simmons Park before enjoying a picnic.
