A FORUM aiming to improve access to Devon?s countryside for residents and visitors meets at County Hall next week.

The recently established Devon County Forum will comment on access maps, rights of way improvement plans and wider

strategic issues. It will also provide advice to the county council on how to make the countryside more accessible and enjoyable.

The forum represents landowners and managers, users of access land, including walkers, cyclists and riders, and those with other

interests such as wildlife and tourism.

The 14 forum members include five from West Devon: Michael Bickell, Terry Faull, Christine Ingram, Cllr Gretta Madigan and George Whitfield.
